We have two battery technologies to address the market demands:


NMC constructed with a cathode combination of nickel, manganese and cobalt. This is for high energy-density applications such as electric vehicles and buses.

LMO with Mangenese-rich cathode. This is targeted at applications that are stationary and for energy storage.

Local beneficiation of critical minerals

All the critical minerals required for lithium-ion batteries are found abundantly in Africa, no other continent can boast this. The time has come to protect Africa's most valuable minerals through local beneficiation of raw materials up to the large-scale local production of end-products.

SPECIFICATIONS

High capacity energy storage cells

The TMEC26800HE001 cell has a diameter of 26mm and a length of 80mm, and each cell has a capacity of 6200mAh and an energy density of over 200Wh/kg. This is almost double the capacity that traditional 18650 cells offer.

SAFETY FIRST

Special features for long-life safety

TMEC cells are designed as structurally safe with end-contact cooling pads to increase cooling efficiency and with reduced thermo-runaway power. The cell has a built-in fail-safe feature through special bonding technologies. The electrodes are engineered for lower impedances and an even current distribution.
